We’re back for another year at Stylist Live, and we have a feeling that this year will be more dynamic, exciting and (of course) luxe than ever before. We’ve teamed up with Leeds-based illustrator and graphic designer Abbey Withington again who has created a mural for our stall along with a series of artworks that you can flaunt on a custom tote bag, free for all Stylist attendees. Abbey will also be doing live drawings and we’ll have an exclusive offer on all our frames on the day. But enough about us. We’ve curated a list of our top 10 must-see experiences at this year’s Stylist Live Luxe. Can’t wait to see you there!

1. Elizabeth Day

A pioneering author, journalist and podcaster, Elizabeth has carved her place as a unique and well-respected voice in British media. Her memoir How To Fail: Everything I’ve Learned From Things Going Wrong and adjacent podcast How To Fail with Elizabeth Day is everything our hyper-ambitious perfection-driven society needs right now. Catch her speaking on the Friday from 2pm - 2.30pm

2. Nadiya Hussain

Since winning the Great British Bake Off in 2015, Nadiya has written four cookbooks (Time To Eat, Nadiya's Family Favourites, Nadiya's British Food Adventure and Nadiya's Kitchen), a trilogy of story cookbooks for children as well as a number of fiction novels. On top of this, Nadiya writes a column for The Times and her first memoir, Finding My Voice, is out in October. Oh, and did we mention she’s also a mother of three? Nadiya’s talk, Letters To My Younger Self, is on Friday from 3.30pm - 4pm

3. Kubi Springer

Get ready to feel inspired (albeit a little intimidated) by the queen of branding. Starting out as an intern for Sean ‘Puff Daddy'' Combs, Kubi has garnered an impressive list of collaborators and clients, including Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Nike and many more. She has now turned her focus to training female leaders and entrepreneurs to have the confidence, knowledge and skills to build their own personal brands. Her book, I Am My Brand, is out in October. Kubi’s talk, Build Your Brand & Know Your Worth: The Natwest Business Brunch is taking place Friday from 11am - 11.30am.

4. Stylist Runway

The Stylist Runway will start every hour and a half from Friday to Sunday, so grab your event itinerary and make sure you don’t miss out.

5. Nikita Gill

A groundbreaking poet who has used the power of social media to make her touching and potent work accessible to the masses, Nikita represents a new wave of wordsmiths. Her work has been lauded by academics, celebrities and activists alike. Nikita has just published Great Goddesses which honours the everyday groundbreaking women who are changing the world. Nikita is speaking on Sunday 5pm - 5.30pm.

6. Candice Carty-Williams

Candice’s debut novel, Queenie, published earlier this year was such an instant hit that she has already quit her day job and approved a screen adaption deal. We can’t to see what she does next, equipped with astute intelligence and relatability, we know it will be incredible. Her talk, Female Is Not A Genre is on Saturday 5pm - 5.30pm.

7. The Dressing Room

Step into the mini department store for exclusive stylist appointments and personalised products. Hot tip: each day the first 50 people to spend over £50 will receive a luxury good bag.

8. Vick Hope

One half of Capital FM’s wildly successful breakfast team with Roman Kemp, she also presents for The Voice, has covered sports events for C4 and Sky, is an ambassador for Amnesty International, hosted the Women’s March, and most recently, has written a book titled Listen Up: Rule the airwaves, rule the school. Need we say more? Feel in awe as she speaks on Sunday 5pm - 5.30pm

9. Rare Birds Book Club

We love anything book related at Bailey Nelson, so a book lucky dip is kind of a big deal for us.

10. Sofie Hagen

Winner of the Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival in 2015, she’s since sold out two tours. It’s fair to say Sofie is one funny lady. A founder of The Guilty Feminist podcast, she also hosts the much loved Made Of Human podcast. Catch Sofie speaking about her latest book, Happy Fat: Taking Up Space In A World That Wants To Shrink You on Sunday 1pm - 1.30pm.
